#Dreams: A Garbage Cleaning and De-fragmentation Framework For Recollections of Our Memories
- I always used to wonder about our dreams.
- Why they come when we sleep?
- What is the use of it?
- Do they have any effect on our system?
- Why they are not organized in a manner so that some meaning of it can be understood?
- Why they are a series of disconnected stories?
- Why we don’t remember them when we wake up?
In my research, I
found them very useful in cleaning of our memory system and reorganize
it with fresh and useful information. We start dreaming when our junk
cleaning system gets activated. Because there is lots of disconnected
and unaccessed information in our memories, so when mind accesses them
we see the result as a dream. Then the mind flushes the information of
no use and reorganizes the memory system. Now one more question is
there. Why memory cleaning does not happen when we are awake? The
answer may be, if mind access junk files when we are awake and we start
seeing it then it will unstabilize us, it will be feeling like a
vertigo effect! And the result can be a disaster. Also, there are low
resources available for this process when we are awake as the memory
system is busy and not readily available. It is nothing but to access
memories for cleaning purposes, because of that there is no
connectivity between the scenes. It has no starting point and no end.
Dreams are a very much required part of our human system and because of
them we are refreshed every day when we dream.
